It's been almost two years since my husband, young son, and I picked up and moved to California from New York City where we were born and raised and lived comfortably and content with jobs we weren't happy with and a hectic NYC lifestyle we felt kept us all apart from each other more than we liked.
Since arriving I have contemplated blogging our journey, but it hasn’t been
until now that I finally feel like my head is above enough water that I can
finally get online and share our family story.
I hope this will be the first of many blogs to come as I try to also backtrack our journey a bit for a more comprehensive understanding of what has brought us where we currently are and take you to where we hope to go.
